The U.S. Science Support Program has multiple funding opportunities designed to support U.S.-affiliated scientists whose research uses scientific ocean drilling data. We assist scientists as they develop proposals and plan for expeditions (workshop and pre-drilling activity funding), as they participate on expeditions (expedition participant support), and as they complete expedition-related research (post-expedition awards).  We have opportunities for graduate students, including the Schlanger Ocean Drilling Fellowship, and have compiled a list of NSF-funded activities and research that are either larger than or beyond the scope of our program.
